The Magician is a reminder that our thoughts & words are very powerful, and as we speak, we create.

It’s time to align your will with the Divine Plan for your life.

The Empress reminds us that there is a flow to the abundance of life, and to be a part of it all we must do is step into that flow.

If any part of you is resistant & holding on when you should be letting go, you’re separating yourself from that flow.

Surrendering your will to the Divine will means that if you fee divinely guided to something, you work through your own resistances or understanding of why you should do it.

The 6 of Pentacles means that there’s an exchange of resources.  Resources include time, energy, money, etc.

We need to balance out the giving and receiving in our lives to keep the flow going.

Things aren’t always as they appear.  One person’s success may not look like success to someone else.

You don’t have to wait for someone to come along and give you what you think you need, because maybe you need to be exactly where you are now so you can be the one to make a different choice.

10 of Swords:

  • Betrayal, mistrust, being stabbed in the back
  • Being a victim, giving up
  • Overwhelming thoughts
  • Negative thoughts directed at you from others
  • Something is finished – which is like a death
  • Lessons learned, completion of a cycle

Feeling helpless because there’s so many things to do, so many tasks, so much on your mind.

Sometimes we need to admit that we need help, and we can’t do it on our own.

Another part to this; don’t spend time with people who will betray you.  Learn your lessons and don’t place yourself in harmful situations.

Even if it seems harmless, like if you just change yourself a little bit, or compromise yourself a little bit to fit in, or say, “I’m just going to say I agree so this night can go well.”

In the end, that is killing you because you’re losing yourself, you’re losing your identity and your authenticity.

Sometimes we need to be corrected if we’re on the wrong track or if we’re incorrect about something – that’s why it’s important to have friends who you can have disagreements with, and work them out.

But that’s not the same thing as constantly changing yourself, and trying to force yourself into places where you don’t belong and aren’t welcome and don’t feel safe.

Value yourself by putting up strong boundaries.  Plus, letting go of tense situations and strained relationships opens up room for you explore environments and situations you DO feel in harmony with.

9 of Swords:

  • Anxiety, worry, stress, loneliness, guilt, regret

Trying to clear your mind & console yourself won’t make your worries go away.

Ask yourself, “Is worrying about this helping the situation right now?  Is there anything I can do about it right now?”  If no, let it go.

Deal with the problems, and again, you don’t have to do it alone.  Even if there’s nobody in the world you think you can trust, there is always someone to help.

9 of Cups:

  • Personal satisfaction, rewards, vindication, accomplishment

The satisfaction is “personal” because holding yourself to your own highest standards is emotionally rewarding.

Forcing things and being hard on yourself to be perfect and fit in and try to make everyone like you increases your stress and drains you of your vitality.

Ask yourself, “What do I really want? And if I had that, what would that mean and what would that feel like?”

It’s OK to close yourself off from others sometimes, IF it makes you more focused.

Stop being distracted trying to prove yourself.  Just being your best self will naturally bring you into contact with those you feel more aligned with, because that’s where your focus will be.

Happy New Moon!

There’s something refreshing about New Moons.

While the slow build up in the week before the new moon may be begrudgingly painful as we release and work through difficult emotions…

The New Moon gives us a chance to start fresh, and feel lighter, with a clean slate to work with.

This New Moon is also with a Solar eclipse which has to do with our identity.

What if we were to harness the creative power and genius that’s available to us?

There is a way to get closer to God and feel Divinity flow through you.  Let the Goddess open up all your channels, energizing every fiber of your being with electricity.

Feel the giant wings of Archangel Michael shielding you.  Feel the Angelic wings of Isis spreading across your back.

Feel your own Angelic nature.

Pisces is a time of connection with our Spirituality.

“What do I believe?” is an extremely important question.

Find out if you have any unanswered questions and answer them.

One false belief can be a loophole that unravels your whole belief system so it can also be a time of great transformation that’s not always easy.

That’s why the Destroyer archetypes are coming through – Sekhmet, Kali, Inanna.  To bring attention to our own weakest links within ourselves so we can be stronger.

We need to get to the root of it and figure out why it’s there.  Heal, acknowledge, and honor it, in order to transform it.

Heal the core wound or the pattern will repeat itself.

Cards:

Hanged Man:  Suspense, waiting, letting go of control, spiritual awakening, illumination, enlightenment, perspective, world turned upside down.

Empress:  Divine Feminine.  Calling forth manifestation of abundance, patience, allowing, receiving, love, beauty.

Being out in nature is good for the Spirit.  Our spirit wants to be nurtured and lavished in the luxury of Mother Nature.  Let yourself enjoy and experience pleasure.

10 of Pentacles: Family, generations, longevity, prosperity, wealth, security, familiarity.  Happiness, success, everything is how it should be.  Enjoying home life.

Appreciating those that support us, elders, husbands, wives, children, pets.

Weekly Guidance 2/13 – 2/19

Picture

The Page of Wands comes in the beginning of the week to help us overcome obstacles and challenges in regards to our creativity, passion and motivation.

In the middle of the week we have the 3 of Cups which indicates some sort of celebration, friendship and social connection.

We are able to find a like-minded community that makes us feel like we are a part of something.

At the end of the week we have the 2 of Cups, which is more of a one-on-one meeting of the hearts.

There’s a union of complimentary pairs that shows us that we can value each other’s differences.

Because we have the 2 & 3 of Cups this week, it’s likely that the challenges in the beginning of the week will help us find a way to feel more connected to those around us later in the week in a way that is truly authentic.

Weekly Guidance 1/16 – 1/22

Picture

We have peace and mental clarity at the beginning of the week with the 4 of Swords.

This would be a good time to simplify and organize your life and your thoughts.

Spend some time in prayer/meditation, and purifying and cleansing your sacred space.  Bring order to chaos.

With the Sun moving into Aquarius in the middle of the week, we strive toward Higher Ideals.

The Ace of Pentacles comes in and advises us to start from where we are.

What can we offer with what we have now, to participate and be in the flow of life?  We all have something that we can offer.

With the Wheel of Fortune at the end of the week, we know that we can always handle whatever comes our way.

Life will never give you something you’re not prepared for, unless it’s a catalyst for change, or to nudge you in a certain direction.

Open up to opportunities that come your way.

Try new things, and if you feel like you’re not ready, practice until you are.

Sometimes we also need to start before we’re ready, and then we have a remembrance of what we’re doing as we’re doing it.

We’re never done learning and experiencing.

Day after day, moment after moment, there’s still another level of learning, uncovering, discovering, clearing, maturing, purifying, etc.

Whatever it is, we’re always evolving, we’re always changing, and there is never an end, we’re never done.

That’s why on the Wheel, the Tarot ends and beings with a T, because endings and beginnings go hand in hand.

Weekly Reading 1/9 – 1/15

Picture

The Queen of Wands at the beginning of the week means that we are very busy with social activities and taking care of business.

But it’s fun for us and we enjoy it and we’re able to take care everything very easily.

With the Queen of Cups in the middle of the week we have emotional stability.

Happiness peace, calm, and tranquility.

We’re easily able to handle emotional situations.

At the end of the week we have the Two of Swords, which can be like being at a crossroads or some sort of stalemate where we can’t really see the future or the next step.

This card means that we need to rely on our mental powers and the combined power of our logic and intuition to make a decision.

Sometimes if we put off making a decision for too long the universe will make a choice for us.

Participating in the flow of life means that sometimes we must decide – even if it may not be the right decision it’s at least better than making no decision at all.

If things feel stuck, stagnant, or blocked, tune in to your subconscious and find out what may be slowing you down.  This will help to find out how to get the ball rolling again.

Weekly Guidance 12/26 – 1/1

Picture

A very interesting week lies ahead of us.

First we have the Wheel of Fortune, which means that we are at a turning point.

This can be sort of a wild card which brings the unexpected.  It’s up to us to use what we get for our greatest good and highest potential.

At times when there are big changes happening in our lives, or a turning of the season, it can be even more important to stay centered.

Connect with what grounds us – whether that is our meditative practice or our family…whatever makes us feel at home.

It’s important to get back to our true selves after being pulled in different directions so we don’t lose our sense of inner navigation.

Judgement comes in to remind us that we all have an inner calling, special purpose, and reason for being here…

…and your individual life is intimately connected to all of life.

Your personal wellbeing influences the whole of humanity and the world.

Can you imagine if every single person in the world was making choices and decisions out of their greatest good in every single moment?

Individuals wouldn’t be able to consciously do harm to another because it’s actually harming themselves.  Everything we do to and for ourselves has a ripple effect.

The 6 of Cups comes in and the end of the week reminding us to not take things too seriously, and of the importance of our inner child.

Children are so innocent and pure and need guidance and direction and love, not being controlled or manipulated.   Please treat yourself and the children in your life with love and respect.

Children need adults in their lives who are willing to be a great example for them of how to live a life with integrity and compassion, and purpose and brilliance.

This is also a reminder to enjoy the simple things in life and take pleasure in simple beautiful moments.

Each moment is unique and will never happen again in the same way.

That doesn’t mean we must hold on to it or fight against change, because good things are always coming and new moments will happen…

…but it does mean we just relax into what’s happening right now and don’t take it for granted.

Do something playful for yourself this weekend.

-Nora

Weekly Guidance 12/12 – 12/18

Picture

In the beginning of the week we have the 3 of Pentacles, which is about working together towards a common goal.

When working together as a team, the goal of the team must be more important than any individual’s motive.  With all things in life you need a balance, so you also must make sure that everything is fair, and no one is being taken advantage of.

To have an effective team, there must be clarity.  Everyone must know their part.  This requires communication which takes us to…

The 3 of Swords in the middle of the week.  This is about using logic over emotion.

If you find yourself in the midst of a highly charged emotional atmosphere, we can clear the storm by using logic to sort through our emotions.

The most sensible and logical solution to a problem may not be the most immediately emotionally satisfying.

However, if we let our emotions overtake us and ignore our logic…this can lead to us becoming soft, lazy, self-serving, complacent.

This bring us to the 9 of Cups.

Using logic over emotion and cooperating with your community will ultimately bring a deeper sense of emotional fulfillment.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking you should only do things that make you feel good.

Cliché statements like “follow your heart” and “if it feels good, do it, if it doesn’t, don’t” may sometimes accurately apply in our lives…

But they can also be dangerous if we don’t critically analyze our own motivations and why something makes us feel good.

For example, stepping into our Highest Potential may mean doing something that is extremely challenging.

But if you choose to instead do what feels best, you could miss out on an opportunity for growth, learning and experience.

Not only that, but if you could’ve benefited others by making a different choice, then you’re actually robbing humanity of your gifts.

Working through your difficult emotions and keeping yourself mentally fit will ultimately be more satisfying anyway because you’re fulfilling a deeper need, and that is to participate in life and contribute to society in a way that is useful and helpful in the long term.

Weekly Guidance September 5th – 11th

Picture

Even though there is increased chaos in the world right now, behind every thing there is a presence of peace for knowing the right thing to do in every moment.

The Hermit guides us to go within to our internal compass.  Our inner light will show us the way when we don’t know what to do.

Go to the really silent, still place of peace within you, and you’ll always know the truth.

The 2 of Cups reminds us of the importance of the relationships in our lives.  We really do need each other; to cooperate with each other and listen to each other, and share our hearts and our experiences with each other.

There’s a balance needed between the Hermit and the 2 of Cups.  The Hermit guides us to really know ourselves on the deepest level, tap into our own wisdom and not depend on others to find out what is true.  The 2 of Cups reminds us that we need to come out of our shells and share that wisdom and listen to others sharing their wisdom.

At the end of the week we have the Sun, bringing in a balance of freshness, of innocence and being open to the present moment, to the wisdom of the Hermit.

There is a Hermit within you who is old and wise and has learned much; yet there is also a Sun with you whose innocence,  openness, self expression, and creativity can never be broken or bought.

This is an important part of you that needs to be nurtured and trusted.  Follow your passion, follow your creativity and be open to new experiences with the wisdom of the Hermit.

Also, the contrast of the withdrawn Hermit to the openness of the Sun shows that at times during this week you’ll need to withdraw, and at other times you’ll need to come out of that and be open and vulnerable.  But you can’t be open and vulnerable unless you’ve taken the time to withdraw.  Spend time with yourself, digest and interpret your experiences and your emotions for yourself.  Otherwise you’re just speaking from a place or regurgitating what you’ve been fed.

Know that you are wise!  Listen to your inner Hermit!

-Nora

I have one space open in September for 6 weeks of one on one guidance to transform your life, and explore and deepen your own spirituality.  Email me to set up a free 30 minute discovery session to discuss the possibilities of us working together, including immediate support.

Weekly Reading July 4th-10th

July4th

The beginning of the week offers cleansing and renewal with the Ace of Cups.  Nurture yourself and spend time on things that make you feel good.

The Ace is a chance for a fresh start.  The Cups suit is the watery, emotional realm; so focus on hope, optimism, beauty, purity, etc.  Water is fluid; it goes with the flow, it isn’t rigid.

Find fulfillment through emotional and spiritual intelligence.  In meditation, ask to be aligned mind, body, and spirit.  Really feel what it’s like to open the floodgates and let the spiritual and emotional realms within you to be grounded in your body physically and in your thoughts mentally.

In the middle of the week, the element of Fire comes in strongly with the Kind of Wands.  This is a slow and steady, sustainable fire.  Not a weakly lit fire, or an uncontrollable blaze.

Fire represents our passion, inspiration, motivation, ambition, creativity, etc.  You are the master of the Fire within you, not the other way around.  You control, direct and temper this fire as well as keep it going.

So, when your “fires” are going out (you’re lacking inspiration, motivation, etc.), it’s up to you to find a way to inspire yourself.  Find out what matters to you.

When your “fires” are all over the place (overstimulated, too many ideas, getting impassioned with a cause etc.), it’s up to you to ground these energies and take things step by step.

At the end of the week it’s time for inner reflection with the High Priestess.  This card is about getting to know yourself on a deeper level.

There’s always something more to find out about yourself, and tap into that inner source of infinite wisdom that flows within you.

Peel back the layers of who you think you are and get in touch with your truest self – who you were before anyone told you who you were.  Also the truth as you knew it before anyone told you what the truth is.

Also notice how still and calm the waters are.  She is not reactive.  This is the place you want to turn to when you need to make a choice or decision.

This is where you’ll get the most clarity, and where your truly inspired answers come from.

There’s no need to rush.  Pause, and reflect.
